Sick to My Stomach

The horrors of the digital age. With one unknown misstep, Nathan or I managed to unintentionally obliterate every captured memory from Sutter's Fort. There was the absolutely adorable picture of Nathan at the beginning of the day in all his John Bidwell glory and then the very dirty, yet very happy, picture of him in the same clothes 24 hours later. Then of course there's the picture at the end of the day with Nathan giving his bonnet-clad mother a big hug. Then there's the tug of war pictures, Nathan making rope, Nathan riding a covered wagon through the streets of Sacramento, etc., etc. Not to mention the pictures of the pile of hair and kid scissors on the table in Rachel's room and the pictures of Rachel smiling under a newly-self-enlarged forehead.

This is the enormous price I'm paying for procrastinating my post. We do, however, have the very happy memories of watching the pictures parade across our t.v., complete with music, on the Wii slideshow. (My very favorite part of the Wii.)

Oh Sherrie, that is disastrous. I would have really liked to see those pictures. Maybe some tech savvy person could retrieve them for you?

So sad!! We thought we lost all of the pictures we had stored on our computer a couple years ago, but my brother was able to recover them for us. Maybe you have a friend or ward member that could help you too.
