The Second Best Thing About Living in California
The very best thing about living in CA is family. This week we've been enjoying the second best thing--beaches and cities by the bay one day, mountains and snow the next--both under cloudless blue skies.

Did the kids like snowboarding? Was this their first time?
That's what I love about OR too-although you have warmer weather and more blue skies than us I love being 50 min from the beach, 30 from the lakes and mountains and 45 mins from Portland. So fun!
This was actually their 3rd snowboard outing--the last adventure involved a 45 minute trip down the bunnyhill and quitting thereafter. That's a very long story similar in style to our Unexpected SF adventures involving glove loss, keys locked in the van, and an absence of socks.
