Monica Marcheschi, her Faith in God for Girls Advisor until she turned 12, was kind enough to create this masterpiece for Rachel.
Rachel looked so grown up as she attended her last big event at Plainfield Elementary School. The weather for the Promotion ceremony was great and the scenery on the east lawn of the school was the perfect backdrop. There were about 60 students in her class, the Class of 2016.

I can't believe it! The class of 2016...oh my! It has gone by so fast! Rachel you look beautiful and we are proud of you. You are a great young lady and we are excited to see what wonderful things you will do in the future.
She really does look so grown up! How exciting for her to be moving on to middle school, and how scary for her parents!
Will she be in 6th or 7th grade? Some middle schools here are just 7th and 8th. Rach looks so pretty and grown up. Congrats on movin on up!!!
She will be in 7th grade--crazy! It is so weird to have a young woman and remember to take her to Mutual every Wednesday. After all my years serving in YW--it's hard to believe that the baby I took along with me is old enough to go on her own.
