(Once again the truly wise don't really need these words...)If you are blessed to be part of an amazing community garden and you are further blessed to have your friend Monica take of the garden's bounty and make you fresh salsa, don't rinse your salsa bowl out in the busy public restroom at the large, round multi-faucet sink at the big league swim championship unless you really want to induce stranger gagging.
If you are making economical plans to feed your family, you might be tempted to bring a few disposable (yet rinse-able) bowls with you to make chip and salsa eating available throughout the day. If you grew up eating only Casa Lupe chunky salsa, and have since led a largely salsa-less existence, you might be tempted to rinse said bowls out in the community sink without realizing that the drain holes are microscopic and blended salsa resembles vomit with amazing accuracy. You might not be fully cognizant of this fact until you try to fix your mistake by attempting to pick up pieces of the floating debris with your fingers. However, when those newly-stepped-up-to-the-sink begin gagging, the problem begins to dawn on you and you begin hasty announcements sounding something like this, "Oh, please don't be alarmed it's only salsa." Later you might realize that your statement didn't alleviate all concerns because many remained unclear if the sink contents were fresh or regurgitated.
Hope this is helpful or, at least, entertaining.
