As many of you know, Steve's wonderful mom passed away on June 1st after a one month battle with brain cancer. It was a great blessing for Steve and his siblings to have that month to serve their mom and to grow closer to each other. I don't think that if Verda could've designed the last month of her life she would've done it any differently. She always emphasized the importance of family and of unconditional love for each other, and the family bonds definitely deepened through this shared experience.
